“Why, yes. He is so sweet.”
“Giselle, you hussy! If you thought there was a chance in hell I’d be leaving any time soon, why, you’re sadly mistaken. Wild horses couldn’t get me out of this house.”
“Well, my dear Estelle, we will see about that! Jiggs! Open the front door!”
“Yes, madame.”
“Ida! Open the back door!”
“Yes, madame.”
“All right. Now … stand clear!”
“What the …?” Estelle first laughed, then betrayed a trace of fright.
Giselle clapped her hands, and the sound of hoofbeats could be heard approaching.
Kabunkit. Kabunkit. Kabunkit.
Giselle proved her point. Wild horses could, in fact, drive Estella out of her house.
